Background

A member-supported educational society, the organization hosts structured tastings and seminars and connects enthusiasts through chapters in the Washington DC area, the Delaware Valley, and San Francisco. Membership is the engine of the society, so its website needs to explain the benefits, list upcoming events, and make joining straightforward.

The brief

The society's existing website had fallen into disrepair and no longer served members well. They needed it restored to a reliable, presentable state, with the work delivered predictably against a schedule and budget that a volunteer-run nonprofit could plan around.

What we built

We restored the site so it once again presents the society clearly: who they are, what membership includes, the chapters and their activities, and how to join. We rebuilt the structure around events and membership, tidied the content, and handed the organization a stable website it can rely on for its calendar of tastings and seminars.

The result

We delivered the restored website within the estimated schedule and at the agreed cost. The society has a professional, working home online again, and a responsive partner for the updates a member organization needs through the year.
